Purposes of processing

Your personal data will be collected and used by HALIX for the purpose of the entering into, performance and management of a commercial relationship with you, including activities aimed at increasing HALIX’s customer base such as sending you invitations for events, newsletters or other online mailings.

If you select a language in which to view the website (Dutch, English or German) we place a cookie to display the site in the language chosen. This cookie is stored on your computer for one (1) year, so that you do not have to select the language again the next time you visit our website.

If you contact us by e-mail or by filling in the contact form on the website, HALIX will collect and use your personal data for the purpose of responding to your questions or comments.
If you sign up to receive newsletters or other online mailings or to attend an event, HALIX will collect and use your personal data to send you the requested newsletters or mailings or to register you as participant at the relevant event.
If you send your job application and CV online by using the link on the Career page of the website, your personal data will be collected and processed for that purpose and you may be contacted by HALIX by telephone, regular mail or e-mail for that purpose.

Storage and retention

Your personal data will be stored in our own data servers located in Germany. Depending on the personal data you provide to us the type of personal data we retain are: your name, function, company name, company telephone number, your mobile phone number, e-mail address, IP address and company address. We store these personal data for a maximum period of seven (7) years from the date of collection. However, personal data that you share with us when you apply for a job will be retained for one (1) year and there (3) months.

Recipients

Your personal data will be shared with Maxlead Services B.V., a company that helps HALIX in increasing the number of visitors to this website. Within HALIX your personal data will be received by employees of the HALIX Business Development and ICT departments. Your job application and CV and related personal data will be shared with HALIX’s HR Department and TalentSoft S.A., a provider for recruitment software. All recipients are bound by confidentiality obligations and, where applicable, by data protection obligations pursuant to a data processing agreement.

Security

HALIX has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the security of your personal data and protect personal data against manipulation, loss, destruction, damage, access by third parties and against any form of unlawful processing.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to request HALIX to inform you of the personal data it processes and retains relating to you and, to the extent applicable, to request that your personal data be corrected, supplemented, deleted or blocked. HALIX enables you to obtain and share certain information on pages of the website through LinkedIn by using the LinkedIn button.
