Which data are collected (acquired) depends on which of our website’s offers you use:
When you visit our website, your internet browser will automatically send data to our web server for technical reasons. These data include, but are not limited to, the date and time of access, URL of the referring website, retrieved file, quantity of the data sent, browser type and version, operating system as well as your IP address.
These data are saved separately from other data that you enter while using our website. Allocating these data to a specific person is impossible for us.
So-called ‘cookies’ are used for this purpose. A cookie designates information that a web server sends to a browser, which the browser in turn sends back to the same web server during subsequent accesses (a so-called ‘browser or session cookie’). Cookies make it possible to save information between website visits and enable an (online shop) server to recognise the visitor’s browser and hence the visitor himself/herself and to remain recognised throughout a session.
The majority of the cookies we use are so-called ‘session cookies’. They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit.
A cookie can only contain information that the website operator sends to the user; the user’s personal data cannot be read out. Please note that cookies can only be retrieved again by the creator of the cookies. This means that no other online provider can read out these cookies.
Depending on the browser used, it is possible to prevent the placement of cookies. To do this, all you need to do is change your browser’s settings. The procedure for this differs from browser to browser. The help function in the menu bar of most browsers will explain how you can keep your browser from accepting new cookies, how you can have your browser indicate when you have received a new cookie and how you can delete previously received cookies and block the browser from receiving further cookies.
Using Google Analytics:
This website uses Google Analytics, an advertising analysis service by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, i.e. text files. These are text files that are saved to your computer and that enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is typically forwarded to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, if the IP anonymisation feature is activated on this website, your IP address is first shortened by Google within European Union member states and in other contractual states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. It is only in exceptional cases that the full IP address is sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and provide additional services associated with website usage and internet usage vis-à-vis the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored with a corresponding setting of your browser software. However, we must point out that if you do this you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website to their full extent.
Preventing data acquisition by Google Analytics:
You can also prevent acquisition of data generated by the cookie that relate to your usage of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can find additional information about this at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or at www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html. We would like to point out that Google Analytics was expanded with the code ‘gat._anonymizeIp();’ on this website in order to guarantee anonymous acquisition of IP addresses.
Use of your data and forwarding to third parties:
Your data that were collected during your visit to the website or due to you voluntarily entering the data will not be forwarded to third parties.
However, we may be obliged to disclose these data for legal reasons or due to a court order. In this case, we will only give your data to state institutions and agencies that are authorised to view this information and only in the required scope.
Within the scope of our contact form, your data will be saved and used in accordance with your request for the purposes of processing. To this end, only the entries required for processing are displayed as mandatory fields (e-mail address, subject, message text); you can also voluntarily enter additional information (name, phone number, street address and city). Your data will not be forwarded to third parties. Your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for processing purposes.
We send out a newsletter at regular intervals (generally on a weekly basis) in order to provide you with information. We will only send our newsletter to people who have expressly subscribed to it. To ensure this, we use the so-called double opt-in process. After subscribing to the newsletter you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. It is only after you click on this link that you will be registered for the newsletter and receive it regularly. For the newsletter, we will essentially only collect the necessary data for sending it (e-mail address). These data will be processed within the HAL Allergy Group and transmitted for the purposes of sending. Your data will not be forwarded to third parties. You can also voluntarily enter additional information.
Should you decide at a later date that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, then you can let us know this at any time. We will stop sending you the newsletter in this case. You can send your cancellation to the contact listed below, without this incurring any additional costs other than the transmission costs in accordance with the basic rates. Moreover, each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link at the end of the e-mail which you can use to cancel your subscription as well.
Consent to usage of your data for advertising purposes:
Reservation of right of modification:
Facebook, Twitter and Google+ buttons have been implemented on our website. These are typically deactivated in order to prevent data from being automatically transmitted in the background to Facebook, Twitter and Google+ when visiting our website (a so-called two click solution), as this would otherwise happen with the implementation of these buttons. For this procedure, the respective buttons must first be activated before you can use them and recommend our website. This prevents data from being sent to Facebook, Twitter und Google+ merely because you visit our website and allows you to actively allow transmission of your data to the social network.
